Product Description
Insertion magnetic flow meter are typically used in large pipes where it is not feasible to install a full-bore flow meter, It consists of a probe that is inserted into the pipe and a transmitter that is mounted on the outside of the pipe. and they are commonly used in industries such as water treatment, wastewater treatment, and chemical processing. One of the advantages of an insertion electromagnetic flowmeter is that it can be installed without having to shut down the process, which can save time and money.
Insertion type magnetic flow meter provide more economical option for large pipelines flow measurement, while preserving the advantages of common type magnetic flow meter.
|
Features of Insertion Electromagnetic Flowmeter
Non-stop installation and maintenance: The biggest advantage of an insertion electromagnetic flow meter is online installation (hot tapping under pressure), allowing installation, removal, inspection, or replacement without interrupting flow or shutting down production. It is especially suitable for continuous industrial processes such as water supply, chemical processing, and metallurgy.
Lower overall cost: Compared with full-bore electromagnetic flow meters, the insertion type uses less material, resulting in lower purchase and installation costs and better cost performance.
Ideal for large-diameter pipelines: Well suited for pipe sizes DN300 and above, such as municipal water supply, wastewater treatment, and circulating water systems.
Convenient for Upgrades and Retrofits: Perfect for retrofitting flow measurement into existing aging pipeline systems without requiring extensive modifications to the original piping
In addition to the advantages of general pipeline electromagnetic flowmeters, insertion-type electromagnetic flow meters also have their own advantages, such as small size, light weight, easy installation and use, and low production and installation costs. Therefore, if the pipe diameter is large, the insertion connection is the best choice.
Insertion Type Magnetic Flow Meters
Plug-in Electromagnetic Flowmeter
|
Insertion Type and Ordinary Electromagnetic Flowmeter Difference
Connection: insertion type electromagnetic flow meter is convenient, no need to cut off the pipeline; directly in the pipeline hole; pipe section type, need to cut off the pipeline;
Accuracy: insertion type electromagnetic flow meter accuracy is in ±1% or ±1.5%; pipe section electromagnetic flowmeter accuracy is in 0.5% ~ 0.2% leve.
Cost: for large caliber, insertion type electromagnetic flowmeter cost is lower.
Ordinary electromagnetic flowmeter price in addition to lining and electrode materials, but also with the size of its caliber, the larger the caliber, the more expensive electromagnetic flowmeter, but the insertion of electromagnetic flowmeter price basically does not change with the diameter of the pipe, so in the measurement of the flow of large-caliber pipeline, especially suitable for the use of insertion-type electromagnetic flow meter, which can greatly reduce the cost of equipment.
