Working Principle of Wafer Type electromagnetic flow meter
The clamping electromagnetic flow meter operates on the principle of Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction, measuring fluid flow by using the electromotive force generated by a conductive liquid in a magnetic field. This instrument has a simple and reliable structure, with no moving parts, ensuring a long service life. It has no throttling or obstructing components, so there is no pressure loss or fluid blockage. With no mechanical inertia, it offers fast response and good stability, making it suitable for automatic detection, regulation, and process control systems. The measurement accuracy is not affected by the type of measured medium and its physical quantity parameters such as temperature, viscosity, density, and pressure. By using different combinations of liners, such as PTFE or rubber, and electrode materials like Hastelloy C (Hc) or 316L Ti, it can be adapted to various media requirements.
