Due to the special safety and hygiene requirements of food production and processing, milk production pipelines, equipment, etc. need to be frequently sterilized; but also due to the milk in the pipeline flow will produce a certain amount of air bubbles or foam, and thus to a certain extent will affect the accuracy of milk flow measurement. Specialized for milk flow measurement equipment is less and often do not meet the user's requirements.
Hygiene electromagnetic flowmeter the sensor adopts Tri-Clamps connection, hygienic and convenient and good sealing performance, its lining is made of PFA PTFE, can be long-term in -45 C ~ 180 C ° work; has a very high resistance to corrosion, almost can resist all the It has high corrosion resistance and can resist almost all chemicals, so it is very suitable for use in strong corrosive environments. It has a very low surface tension and is virtually non-adhesive.
Hygienic design and connection. Special materials and connections.
CIP and SIP requirements. In-situ cleaning and sterilization involves corrosive media such as acids and alkalis, and if high temperature steam sterilization is used, the process will experience temperatures of about 180℃.
Special application lining: PFA (soluble polytetrafluoroethylene)
3A certified / EHEDG tested / FDA compliant.
Can be used for measurement of liquids with conductivity greater than or equal to 5 μs/cm, such as food industry, cosmetic industry, pharmaceutical industry, chemical industry.
Hygienic electromagnetic flowmeter plays an important role in the process of milk flow measurement, and low failure rate, measurement accuracy is relatively high.Hygienic Electromagnetic flowmeter adopts new hygienic lining materials and lining process, in line with the hygiene requirements of the food industry. At the same time, it adopts stainless steel shell and stainless steel clamp connection, which is convenient for quick disassembly and cleaning of electromagnetic flowmeter.
Hygienic Flow Meter
Sanitary Magnetic Flow Meter
1. Raw Milk Reception and Standardization
During raw milk unloading, a hygienic electromagnetic flowmeter can continuously monitor the offloading flow rate from milk tankers. Combined with a conductivity sensor, it can automatically detect diluted or contaminated milk. With a measurement accuracy of ±0.2% and a dynamic density compensation algorithm, it eliminates the effects of temperature and fat-content fluctuations on volume measurement, ensuring that each batch of raw milk meets the required fat and protein specifications.
2. Pasteurization and UHT Processing
In pasteurization, the sanitary magnetic flow meter monitors the relationship between milk flow rate and sterilization temperature to ensure every drop of milk reaches the required 72°C for 15 seconds. Its bidirectional measurement capability provides real-time feedback on return-flow conditions, preventing uneven sterilization caused by pump failures.
During UHT instant sterilization, the flow meter works in a closed-loop system with the steam control valve, maintaining temperature fluctuations within ±0.5°C, significantly extending the product’s shelf life.
3. Filling and Packaging Lines
The filling stage requires extremely precise flow control. By using a high-speed pulse output (up to 10 kHz) integrated with a PLC, the sanitary magnetic flow meter ensures each 250 ml milk bottle has a filling deviation of only ±0.5 ml—five times more accurate than traditional mechanical meters. Its anti-interference design blocks vibration, electromagnetic fields, and other external disturbances, allowing the system to maintain stable performance even at 12,000 bottles per hour.
