 Product Description

The Water Turbidity Sensor is based on the principle of combined infrared absorption and scattered light technology, in accordance with the ISO 7027 method, enabling continuous and precise turbidity measurement. It can accurately detect water turbidity without being affected by color interference, thanks to the dual infrared scattering light technology of ISO 7027.

Additionally, the turbidity sensor includes special features such as an automatic cleaning function, which reduces maintenance costs. It also has a built-in temperature transmitter with automatic temperature compensation, effectively eliminating the impact of temperature changes on measurement accuracy.

The main advantage of the Water Turbidity Sensor is its ability to monitor water quality in real-time. If the turbidity level exceeds the acceptable limit, corrective actions can be taken immediately.

In terms of communication, the turbidity sensor adopts an RS485 communication interface and fully supports the MODBUS RTU protocol, allowing easy integration with computers for monitoring and data recording, meeting communication needs in different application scenarios.

Application Scenarios of Water Turbidity Sensor

The Water Turbidity Sensor is a process control instrument used to measure the turbidity or cloudiness of liquid samples. It is widely used in water treatment plants, food and beverage processing, and other industries with strict water quality requirements.

Key Applications:

  • Water Treatment: Used to monitor wastewater treatment efficiency and ensure the treated water meets discharge standards.

  • Beverage Production: Ensures the clarity and turbidity of beverages meet quality standards.

  • Environmental Protection: Provides real-time monitoring of suspended particulate concentrations in the environment, supporting environmental agencies with accurate data for effective pollution control. It can also be used to monitor wastewater and exhaust emissions to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
