When do you need a grounding ring?
1. There is scattered current interference in the measured pipeline.
2. The tested pipeline is plastic or coated with insulating layer.
What is the function of grounding ring of electromagnetic flowmeter?
Accurate and stable measurement is based on the complete grounding of the magnetic flowmeter. The flowmeter with grounding ring eliminates the interference caused by dispersed current in the pipeline and can provide more reliable flow data.
Note:
1. If the electromagnetic flowmeter is installed on plastic pipe or painted pipe, grounding rings must be installed at both ends of the sensor. Otherwise, the electromagnetic flowmeter cannot work normally.
2. There are many materials for grounding ring, such as stainless steel, Hastelloy, titanium, tantalum and platinum.
