APT12 Panel-Mount pH/ORP Transmitter and Controller

The ARTang APT12 is a compact panel-mount pH/ORP controller for continuous measurement, local display and high/low limit control.

It supports 4–20 mA output and relay control for water treatment, chemical dosing, packaged equipment and industrial process applications. Depending on the selected electrode, it measures 0.00~14.00 pH or −1000 to +1000 mV ORP.

    Product Description

    The APT12 pH/ORP controller is a compact industrial instrument for local display, 4–20 mA output, and basic high/low relay control.

    In pH mode, it works with a combination pH electrode and measures 0.00~14.00 pH with three-point calibration (pH 4.00, 6.86, 9.18). In ORP mode, it uses a compatible electrode and measures −1000 to +1000 mV.

    The 4–20 mA output transmits data to PLCs or recorders, while relay outputs support alarm or simple on/off control.

    With a 96 × 96 mm panel design, 92 × 92 mm cutout, and 24 VDC power supply, it is suitable for OEM systems, control panels, and replacement applications.

    FAQ

    Can the APT12 measure pH and ORP at the same time?

    Simultaneous dual-channel measurement is not specified in the supplied technical data.

    The APT12 should be treated as a single-channel instrument configured for either pH or ORP measurement according to the connected electrode.

    Is the pH or ORP electrode included?

    The controller and electrode should be specified separately unless the quotation clearly states that they are supplied as a complete set.

    Electrode selection depends on the liquid, temperature, pressure, contamination, mounting method, cable length and chemical compatibility.

    Does the APT12 support automatic temperature compensation?

    No automatic temperature compensation is specified.

    The APT12 uses manual temperature compensation. The operator must enter or adjust the process temperature used for pH electrode-slope compensation.

    Which pH buffer solutions should be used?
