    Product Description

The APS12 is designed for pH measurement in low-conductivity pure water systems such as boiler water, power plant water chemistry, hot demineralized water, and other high-temperature clean water processes where stable and accurate readings are required. It supports a minimum medium conductivity of 1 μS/cm.

It uses an HL low-resistance glass membrane, a multi-pore ceramic junction, and a double-junction reference system to ensure stable signal response. High-temperature-resistant materials and GFT polymer gel electrolyte support operation from 0–130°C, with PG13.5 mounting and configurable sensor options.

This electrode is suitable for power generation, industrial boiler systems, and OEM water analysis equipment requiring reliable pH monitoring in hot, low-ionic-strength environments.

It features a cylindrical, acid- and alkali-resistant glass membrane approximately 0.2~0.4 mm thick, providing a large sensing area and improved mechanical impact resistance compared with conventional spherical glass bulbs. The integrated Ag/AgCl/KCl reference system uses pressure-resistant GFT polymer gel electrolyte, while the double-junction design helps protect the reference system from process contamination and reduces the risk of reference poisoning in wastewater and chemically complex media.

With stable measurement performance, chemical and pressure resistance, and flexible installation dimensions, the APS11 is suitable for a wide range of industrial water treatment and process control applications.

    FAQ

Can it measure ultrapure water below 1 μS/cm?

Performance below 1 μS/cm is not covered by the published APS12 specification.

For 18.2 MΩ·cm ultrapure water or other applications below 1 μS/cm, contact ARTang for technical review before selection.

Can the electrode operate continuously at 130°C?

The specified temperature range extends to 130°C, but 130°C should be treated as the upper temperature limit rather than an unconditional continuous rating for every application.

Actual suitability depends on operating duration, pressure, process chemistry, temperature cycling, holder design, connector and cable configuration.

Can the APS12 operate continuously at 6 bar?

The normal specified operating pressure is 0–3 bar. The 6 bar value is the maximum pressure limit and should not be presented as the recommended continuous operating pressure.

Pressure capability must be reviewed together with process temperature and installation conditions.

How should the electrode be stored?

Keep the glass membrane and ceramic junction hydrated using the recommended pH electrode storage solution.

Do not store the electrode dry or in deionized water. Dehydration can increase membrane resistance, slow response and shorten sensor service life.
