Product Description
The APS11 Industrial pH Electrode is engineered for continuous pH monitoring in drinking water systems, municipal sewage treatment, industrial wastewater treatment, chemical dosing processes, and environmental engineering projects.
It features a cylindrical, acid- and alkali-resistant glass membrane approximately 0.2~0.4 mm thick, providing a large sensing area and improved mechanical impact resistance compared with conventional spherical glass bulbs. The integrated Ag / AgCl / KCl reference system uses pressure-resistant GFT polymer gel electrolyte, while the double-junction design helps protect the reference system from process contamination and reduces the risk of reference poisoning in wastewater and chemically complex media.
With stable measurement performance, chemical and pressure resistance, and flexible installation dimensions, the APS11 is suitable for a wide range of industrial water treatment and process control applications.

Typical Applications
The APS11 Industrial pH Electrode is designed for continuous pH monitoring in:
- Municipal water and wastewater treatment
- Industrial wastewater and discharge monitoring
- Neutralization and acid/alkali dosing systems
- Biological treatment and sludge processes
- Coagulation, filtration, and recirculating water systems
- Food and beverage, textile, metal processing, electroplating, and pulp and paper effluent
- Packaged water treatment equipment and environmental monitoring projects
The double-junction reference system provides additional protection against process contamination and helps reduce the risk of reference poisoning in complex wastewater media.
For concentrated chemicals, organic solvents, strong oxidizers, high-sodium solutions, low-conductivity water, or combined high-temperature and high-pressure conditions, application compatibility should be confirmed before selection.

FAQ
The HA glass membrane is designed for improved resistance to acidic and alkaline media across a 0~14 pH measurement range. However, suitability depends on chemical concentration, temperature, pressure, sodium content and the complete process composition.
Hydrofluoric acid and other chemicals that attack glass are not suitable for standard glass pH electrodes.
The specified continuous pressure range is up to 3 bar. The 6 bar value is the maximum pressure limit, not necessarily the recommended continuous operating pressure.
Pressure capability must be reviewed together with process temperature, mounting assembly and electrode configuration.
The PG13.5 thread is widely used for industrial pH electrodes, but mechanical thread compatibility alone is not sufficient.
The following items must also match:
- Electrode length
- Insertion depth
- Connector type
- Temperature sensor type
- Cable configuration
- Transmitter input
- Process pressure
- Chemical compatibility
The temperature element must match the input specification of the pH transmitter. Common options include NTC 10K, NTC 2.252K, NTC 22K, Pt100 and Pt1000.
Using the wrong element can produce incorrect temperature readings and inaccurate temperature compensation.
Calibration frequency depends on contamination, temperature, chemical exposure and the accuracy required by the process.
The correct interval should be established by recording calibration drift over time. Contaminated wastewater applications usually require more frequent calibration than clean-water applications.
Cable lengths up to 60 metres are available. Long pH signal cables require correct shielding, dry connectors and suitable high-impedance transmitter inputs.
For electrically noisy sites, a local preamplifier or transmitter may provide better measurement stability than a very long direct electrode cable.
Yes. Multiple insertion lengths, connector types, temperature sensors, cable lengths and junction configurations are available for OEM, replacement and project requirements.
