ARTang Electromagnetic Flowmeter Series Introduction
ARTang Aimag electromagnetic flowmeters are designed for conductive liquid measurement in different industrial applications. Depending on the medium, installation method, power supply condition, and industry requirements, buyers can choose different Aimag models for water, wastewater, sewage, slurry, food and beverage, chemical liquids, large pipelines, and remote sites.
The ARTang Aimag series is not a single universal product. It includes several electromagnetic flow meter models for different working conditions. Each model has its own application focus, while liner materials, electrode materials, process connections, output signals, and communication options can be configured according to project requirements.
All Aimag series flowmeters are available with integrated or remote converters, depending on the site environment, installation space, medium temperature, vibration, and display requirements.

Aimag-A: Standard Electromagnetic Flowmeter
Aimag-A is ARTang’s standard electromagnetic flowmeter model for water, wastewater, sewage, municipal water supply, industrial circulating water, cooling water, and other general conductive liquids.
It is usually the first model to consider for ordinary water and wastewater projects, especially when the medium does not contain heavy slurry, does not require sanitary-grade construction, and is not a highly corrosive chemical liquid. Different liner and electrode materials can be selected according to water quality and site conditions.
Aimag-S: Slurry Electromagnetic Flowmeter
Aimag-S is used for slurry and conductive liquids containing solids, such as mining slurry, pulp, mud, mineral processing liquids, wastewater with sand, and other media with suspended particles.
The model is specially designed to reduce interference caused by particle impact and unstable signals. For slurry applications, the flowmeter needs to handle abrasion, signal fluctuation, and noise caused by solids passing through the measuring tube.
Aimag-H: Sanitary Electromagnetic Flowmeter
Aimag-H is the sanitary electromagnetic flowmeter model for food, beverage, dairy, brewery, and pharmaceutical liquid applications, including milk, beer, juice, beverage, liquid ingredients, and other hygienic conductive liquids.
The flowmeter uses a stainless steel body with PFA liner and sanitary process connections. Its hygienic structure helps prevent liquid retention, hygienic dead zones, and residue buildup, making it suitable for production lines that require 3-A certification, CIP cleaning, and SIP sterilization.
Aimag-C: Chemical Electromagnetic Flowmeter
Aimag-C is used for chemical liquids, including acid, alkali, chloride-containing liquids, corrosive media, and high-temperature or high-pressure process conditions.
Chemical applications require stricter compatibility between the liquid and wetted materials. Aimag-C is designed for harsher chemical environments where liner material, electrode material, temperature resistance, pressure resistance, and corrosion resistance are key selection factors.
Aimag-D: Wafer Electromagnetic Flowmeter
Aimag-D is the wafer type electromagnetic flowmeter model for compact installation and limited pipeline space.
Unlike a traditional flanged electromagnetic flowmeter, the wafer type is installed between pipeline flanges. Its shorter face-to-face structure can reduce installation length and equipment weight, making it suitable for compact pipeline layouts and general conductive liquid measurement.
Aimag-I: Insertion Electromagnetic Flowmeter
Aimag-I is the insertion electromagnetic flowmeter model for large pipelines, water distribution systems, municipal pipelines, industrial circulating water, and retrofit projects.
For large-diameter pipelines, a full-bore electromagnetic flowmeter may increase equipment cost and installation difficulty. The insertion type measures flow velocity by inserting the sensor into the pipe, making it a practical option for large pipe measurement and pipeline renovation.
Aimag-E: Battery Powered Electromagnetic Flowmeter
Aimag-E is the battery powered electromagnetic flowmeter model for sites without stable power supply, such as remote water supply, irrigation systems, underground pipelines, rural water metering, and outdoor monitoring points.
This model is developed for low-power operation and long-term field use. It is suitable for water metering and flow monitoring projects where AC or DC power access is difficult, but electromagnetic flow measurement is still required.
What Makes ARTang Aimag Flowmeters Reliable?
The long-term stability and accuracy of ARTang Aimag flowmeters come from application-oriented product design, reinforced mechanical structure, reliable converter performance, and controlled calibration before delivery.
Mechanical strength is an important part of the Aimag series design. The connection parts are reinforced compared with ordinary electromagnetic flowmeters, with a stronger structure and more secure bolts for long-term pipeline installation. In some models, ARTang uses fewer welded parts and adopts CNC-machined integrated components where applicable, helping reduce welding points and improve structural consistency.
Quality control is also an important part of the Aimag series. ARTang can provide calibration, material configuration support, and project-based technical selection. Depending on the model and application, certifications such as CE, 3-A sanitary certification, and explosion-proof approval can also be provided to support different
industrial project requirements.
This model is developed for low-power operation and long-term field use. It is suitable for water metering and flow monitoring projects where AC or DC power access is difficult, but electromagnetic flow measurement is still required.
Integrated and Remote Converter Options
All ARTang Aimag models can be supplied with either integrated or remote converters. The integrated type is suitable for standard pipeline installations where the converter can be mounted directly on the sensor. The remote type is recommended when the pipeline is underground, the site has strong vibration or high temperature, or the converter needs to be installed in a more accessible location.
