The tested medium is hydrochloric acid. Based on the corrosive characteristics of the medium, ARTang engineers selected the PTFE liner, Hastelloy B electrodes for the customer. However, based on the previous project experience in chemical industry, the concentration of hydrochloric acid in the measured pipe may change. HB electrodes can test the hydrochloric acid medium with low concentration . However, if the concentration of hydrochloric acid thickens later, the output of the converter may jump . Therefore, based on the complex chemical changes of the tested piping, we recommended customers to choose tantalum electrodes with better and stable performance in more corrosive mediums.In addition, considering the working conditions of the chemical plant, and magnetic flow meter with explosion-proof design was provided to our customers ,to guarantee the safe operation in chemical plant.
